The Examination Section of CIMAGE Professional College manages and conducts all internal and university examinations in accordance with the guidelines of Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). The cell ensures transparency, fairness, and timely evaluation of student performance.
Examination Overview
The Examination System at CIMAGE Professional College is designed to evaluate students’ academic performance through a structured and transparent process in accordance with the guidelines of Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). The college conducts various examinations throughout the academic session to ensure continuous assessment and academic excellence.
Internal Assessments
Internal Assessments are conducted at regular intervals during the semester to monitor students’ academic progress. These may include unit tests, assignments, presentations, quizzes, and class participation. The marks obtained contribute to the overall internal evaluation as prescribed by the university.
MARQ – Monthly Assessment Revision Quiz
MARQ (Monthly Assessment Revision Quiz) is conducted every month to assess students on the topics covered by faculty during that period. It serves as a revision and performance evaluation tool, helping students strengthen conceptual understanding and stay academically consistent. All subject teachers evaluate students based on the syllabus taught throughout the month.
Practical Examinations
Practical Exams are organized for courses that include laboratory work, computer applications, or project-based learning. Students are evaluated based on practical performance, viva-voce, record submission, and project demonstrations.
Semester Examinations (AKU)
Semester Examinations are conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) at the end of each semester. These university examinations assess students on theoretical and practical knowledge as per the prescribed syllabus and examination scheme.
Backlog Examinations
Students who are unable to clear any subject in the semester examinations are provided an opportunity to reappear through Backlog Examinations, conducted as per AKU norms. This ensures students get a fair chance to improve their academic performance.
Exam Schedule / Notices
Examination Guidelines
Students appearing in Internal and University Examinations are required to follow the examination guidelines issued by the college and Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). Adhering to these instructions ensures a fair and disciplined examination environment.
Admit Card Mandatory
Students must carry their valid Admit Card issued by the college/university for every examination. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without the admit card.
Reporting Time
Students are required to report to the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Late entry may not be allowed once the examination begins.
Use of Unfair Means Prohibited
Any form of unfair means such as carrying chits, electronic gadgets, smart devices, or copying from others is strictly prohibited. Students found violating examination rules will be subject to disciplinary action as per university norms.
Attendance Requirement
Students must fulfill the minimum attendance criteria prescribed by the college and AKU to be eligible to appear in examinations. Those falling short of the required attendance may be detained from appearing in the exams.

Internal Examination Results
Internal assessment results, including unit tests, MARQ (Monthly Assessment Revision Quiz), assignments, and practical evaluations, are shared with students and parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM). This allows detailed discussion on student performance, progress, and areas of improvement.
University Examination Results
Results of Semester and Backlog Examinations conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) are published on the official university examination portal. Students can check their external examination results online through the university website.
