Beyond Boundaries: How CIMAGE’s Inclusive Placement Drive is Empowering Students Across Bihar
In a powerful display of academic collaboration and career empowerment, CIMAGE College recently hosted an inclusive placement drive that brought together not only its own students but also aspiring graduates from multiple other institutions across Bihar. The event highlighted CIMAGE’s long-standing tradition of opening its doors to external students during corporate recruitment drives, fostering a culture of inclusivity and shared success.
As students from different colleges gathered on stage, they were met with warm applause from CIMAGE students, exemplifying the spirit of camaraderie that the institution proudly upholds. The host extended a heartfelt welcome to these visiting students, urging everyone in the auditorium to acknowledge them with a round of applause.
“Just as we’ve always done when companies like ICICI, Wipro, or TCS allow it, we invite students from other colleges as well. And it gives us immense joy that this time, too, students from many different institutions have joined us and secured placements,” said the event host.
The placement drive saw participation from students across reputed institutions such as A.N. College, N.D. College, College of Commerce, J.D. Women's College, Patna Women’s College, B.D. College, Oriental College, and many others. These students came from diverse academic backgrounds—History, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc. in Physics, Economics, Political Science, and Chemistry—and many of them proudly shared their success stories on stage.
Stories of Triumph and Gratitude
Ranjan Kumar Singh, a BBA graduate from L.N. Mishra College, expressed immense gratitude to the CIMAGE team for the opportunity that led to his placement at TCS. “I want to thank the entire CIMAGE team for providing us this platform,” he said with visible pride.
Similarly, Akash Kumar, a History Honours graduate from N College, echoed the sentiment. “I thank all the teachers of CIMAGE who supported us so much,” he said.
Atul Kumar, who pursued B.Com Honours from the College of Commerce, also made it through the TCS selection process. He acknowledged the proactive role played by the CIMAGE placement team in ensuring that relevant information reached their student groups, even when it meant repeated follow-ups with other college faculty.
Rohit Rai (B.Com, N.D. College), Ashish Kumar (B.Sc. Physics, Oriental College), and Ankit (B.Com) were among others who credited their success to the combined efforts of both their home institutions and CIMAGE’s inclusive placement strategy.
Bridging Institutional Gaps
The placement drive was not just a professional milestone for the students but also an example of effective inter-institutional cooperation. Several students shared how information about the placement drive reached them after persistent efforts by their college faculty and CIMAGE coordinators.
Said Sapna Singh from A.N. College, “We students from History Honours are here because our department coordinated well. I’d especially like to thank Dhananjay Sir who made sure the information was shared in our groups.”
Similar stories came from students of J.D. Women’s College. Harsita Tania (Chemistry Honours), Rishu Kumari (B.B.M.), Jyoti Sinha (Economics Honours).
Notably, Sara, a B.B.M. student from J.D. Women’s College, secured multiple offers from TCS, Kotak Mahindra, and Axis Bank. “Now I’m in the process of deciding which one to join. I’m very grateful for the opportunity,” she shared.
A Platform for Confidence and Career Growth
The diversity of courses—from History and Political Science to BBA and Chemistry—among the placed students is a testament to the dynamic nature of today’s job market. Several students admitted this was their first major achievement, yet they viewed it as just the beginning.
Harsa from J.D. Women’s College said, “This is the first big achievement of my life. Thank you, CIMAGE, for making it possible.”
A Day to Remember at CIMAGE
Toward the end of the event, students were asked about their experience at CIMAGE. Many shared how positive and welcoming the environment felt.
“It has been a wonderful two and a half hours,” said one student. “The faculty members are friendly, the students are supportive, and the entire atmosphere is very energizing.”
The host closed the session with warm wishes for all selected students, encouraging them to join the post-placement celebration and enjoy the day. “May you go further in life—academically, professionally, and personally. Whether it’s PG or even PhD, aim high,” he said.
This event not only placed numerous students in reputable companies like TCS but also reinforced the idea that collaboration between institutions can lead to life-changing opportunities. CIMAGE’s unique approach to inclusive placements has proven once again that when opportunities are shared, success is multiplied.
