From Classroom to Corporate: My Success Story at CIMAGE
My name is Harsh Kumar Singh, and I am a student of BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) at CIMAGE Professional College. Today was our Mid-Placement Celebration—a day of joy and reflection—as I am proud to share that I have been placed in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This moment marks not just the beginning of my professional journey but also a turning point that fills me with immense gratitude towards my college.
As someone who once walked into college with little idea of what the future held, I now look back and realize that choosing CIMAGE was one of the best decisions of my life.

When I first joined CIMAGE, I had very little knowledge about the college environment, placements, or how corporate readiness worked. I was unsure about what to expect. But what I found was far more enriching than I could have imagined. The transition from school life to college life came with its challenges, but CIMAGE made it smooth through constant guidance, structured learning, and a highly supportive atmosphere.
Learning Through Workshops, Bridge Courses & Presentations
One of the unique aspects of CIMAGE is the practical approach it follows in preparing students for the corporate world. Regular workshops and bridge courses played a vital role in building my foundational understanding of business, communication, and technology.
Initially, like many students, I found it hard to make presentations or speak confidently in front of others. But at CIMAGE, giving presentations wasn’t just encouraged—it was mandatory. Though it felt difficult at first, this structured compulsion gradually turned into one of my greatest strengths. I learned how to design impactful PowerPoint presentations, speak clearly and confidently, and express my ideas effectively.
These small but continuous efforts helped me upskill, and more importantly, they helped me believe in myself.
Growing with Every Interview & Every Attempt
My placement journey was not a one-shot success. I appeared for multiple interviews, and every experience taught me something valuable. Slowly, my communication skills improved, and I learned how to handle pressure. MS Excel and computer skills also saw a significant boost thanks to the hands-on training sessions conducted regularly.
CIMAGE ensured that every student was prepared not just academically but also technically and professionally. The environment pushes you to grow, and the continuous feedback from faculty helped me refine my skills further.
The Support System: Friends, Mentors & The Director Sir
One of the most important pillars of my journey has been the people I met here—my friends, my teachers, and especially the Director Sir. My friend circle has always been cooperative and motivating. We shared notes, helped each other in assignments, and even prepared for interviews together.
But what stood out the most was the guidance and mentorship from our Director, who is known for his incredible energy and vision. His consistent involvement in every aspect—from academics to cultural events—helped shape not just my career but also my overall personality.
Whether it was helping us understand what to do, how to plan our careers, or making the right choices—he was always there. The positive leadership at CIMAGE is truly its biggest asset.
Cultural and Entrepreneurial Vibrancy on Campus
CIMAGE is not just about academics and placements. The cultural activities, festivals, and entrepreneurship events held here play a crucial role in making student life enjoyable and meaningful.
Events like Saraswati Puja, the grand Holi Mela, and other college festivals provided us with opportunities to relax, celebrate, and also learn managerial skills through organizing these events. The Holi Mela, in particular, is designed in a way that promotes entrepreneurship, where students can set up stalls and showcase their creativity and business skills.
Such initiatives create an ecosystem where students are groomed as future leaders and entrepreneurs, not just job seekers.
